Which credit application should I use?

Use the corporate application for incorporated businesses. Use the personal application when personal information is required for the request. If you’re unsure, start a request and we’ll direct you.

Can I start without completing a full credit application?

Often, yes. For many requests we can begin with equipment details, pricing, seller info, and basic business context. A full application may be required depending on the lender and deal structure.

Where do I send completed applications?

Email completed forms to credit@merritcapital.ca, or submit details through Connect.

What else will you typically ask for?

It depends on the deal. Common items include an equipment quote/invoice, a description of how the asset will be used, and basic business information. We’ll tell you exactly what’s needed (and what’s not).

How should I share sensitive information?

Use the application PDFs and send them directly to our credit email. If you have security requirements for your organization, tell us and we’ll align on the safest method.
